Artist
Ella Mason
Hello Everyone! My name is Ella Mason, a self taught painter from the RVA area! I have been painting for as long as I can remember and I am so excited to introduce myself and Ella Mason Original Artwork. This has been a long time coming and one gigantic leap of faith to take this to a professional setting. I began this journey in my attic childhood bedroom, painting my favorite hockey players. This evolved into historic figures, pets, flowers, abstracts, and everything in between. And eventually my childhood bedroom was covered (and I truly mean COVERED) in paint, but at least art was being created. It is a core belief of mine that art is just as much for the creator as it is for the consumer. Francisco Goya did not paint because he pictured the complements his art would receive in the coming centuries, he painted because it pained him not to . He painted to express the darkness and struggles of humanity, to trap a moment in time to a canvas. I am not claiming to be another Goya, but I am a girl that believes a little color and creativity can bring some light into a gray and gloomy world. And I hope that's what this does. Whether you purchase a piece or simply stumble across this page, I hope it brings light and love into your life.

Birdie Jane
Don't let that smile fool you, this ball of fluff hasn't a thought behind those eyes. Thank God she's pretty, because she doesn't have two brain cells to rub together. Birdie Jane's favorite hobbies include cuddling with anyone and everyone, playing ball (this includes dropping said ball on your head at 5am), swiping her tail through paint palettes, and the occasional hug/body slam.
